We'd been looking for 3 days and we weren't able to find it but we also didn't know what we were looking for. I had literally saw the geocache probably more than 5 times and dismissed it as a metal bolt. It wasn't until today when I saw a video on nano geocaches that I realized that I had already found it. Immediately, I left the lab and went hunting. And sure enough. It was exactly where I expected it to be :p

wait... so what exactly is the point of this? and how do you know the approximate location?
ReplyDeleteGo on to the geocache website. The "easier" ones give you GPS coordinates. Other ones require you to solve puzzles to find coordinates. But the whole "point" is that it's a world wide scavenger hunt. Try it. You might find you end up in places you never would have gone had you not gone looking for a random object posted on a website :p
